From form builder to intake platform
When we started, DodoForm was an AI form builder: describe a form in plain English, let people answer with their voice or a photo, and get structured data back. That core still works — but the product has grown into something bigger.
DodoForm v2 is an AI-native intake platform built on one promise: messy in, verified data out. Whether the data comes from someone else or from a pile you already have, it lands the same way — clean, verified records you can trust and route onward.
Here's everything that shipped.
1. Two ways in: Collect and Extract
The biggest change is that forms are no longer the only door.
One schema, two ingestion modes, the same structured output.
2. A verified-data trust loop
When you handle candidate and client information, "the AI guessed" isn't good enough. So every value DodoForm produces is grounded and checkable:
- AI extracts — a constrained extractor maps messy text, files, images, or audio onto your exact schema, never a free-form blob.
- Snippet guard — every field must trace to an exact snippet in the source. If the snippet isn't found, the value is dropped, not guessed.
- Human confirms — confident fields auto-approve; anything below your threshold lands in a review queue for a one-click correction.
- Traceable and routed — each field keeps its confidence and source, corrections train the extractor, and clean records sync onward.
It's confidence-gated by default: you set the bar, and below it a submission can't auto-approve.
3. CRM and ATS routing
Verified records are only useful where your team already works. DodoForm now pushes them straight into HubSpot, with Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Dynamics, and recruiting ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday) rolling out — reachable today through signed webhooks and Zapier. Routing is available on Max and above.
4. "AI actions" and graceful degradation
We renamed the usage meter from "AI generations" to AI actions, because it counts more than form generation — extraction, messy-input processing, theme analysis, and Ask-your-data queries all draw from the same monthly pool.
And we made hitting the cap safe: responses are always captured. Past your limit, only AI-powered features pause; they resume automatically next billing cycle or the moment you upgrade. Responses are unlimited on every plan — you're only ever metered on AI actions, never on how many people fill your forms.
5. A redesigned dashboard
