Delete your account

Applies to DodoForm on the web and the DodoForm Android app (com.dodoform.app).

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app or on the web

This is immediate and needs no request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

  • Android app: open Settings from the side menu, scroll to Delete account, and confirm.
  • Web: go to Dashboard → Settings → Profile, type DELETE in the confirmation box, then press Delete account.

Option 2 — ask us, if you cannot sign in

Email team@dodoform.com from the address on the account, with the subject Account deletion request. We confirm the request, delete the account, and reply to say it is done — within 30 days and usually within a few working days. We ask from the account address because it is the only way to be sure the request is not someone else deleting your forms.

What is deleted

Everything below is removed permanently, not archived or anonymised:

  • Your account and sign-in identity, including the Google connection if you used one.
  • Your name and email address.
  • Every form you own, with all of its versions, logic, themes and settings.
  • Every response those forms collected, including the AI extraction results, review history, corrections and insights attached to them.
  • Every file uploaded to those forms — respondent attachments, theme images and field videos.
  • Your API keys, webhooks and connected integrations.
  • Your workspaces, and your membership of anyone else's.
  • Your notification subscription, so push stops immediately.

Published forms stop working the moment the account goes: their public links return nothing, so anyone still holding a link cannot submit or read anything.

Two things deletion does not do

It does not cancel a paid subscription

Neither Google Play nor our billing provider lets us cancel on your behalf, so closing the account does not stop the charges. Cancel first — in the Play Store under Subscriptions if you subscribed on Android, or from Settings → Billing on the web. The app tells you if a live subscription is still running when you delete.

It will not delete a shared workspace out from under other people

If you own a workspace that other members are still in, deletion stops and names it. Removing the owner would destroy every form and response belonging to everyone else in that workspace, and there is no way to leave a workspace without an owner. Remove the other members, or transfer the work to them first, then delete.

Retention after deletion

AI prompt audit logs are kept for 90 days and then purged, as described in the Privacy Policy. Encrypted database backups roll off on their own schedule; nothing in them is readable through the product once the account is gone.

Deleting some of your data, without closing your account

You do not have to close the account to get rid of data, and nothing here needs a request to us — every one of these is immediate and permanent:

  • Delete one form. Open it from Forms, then delete it. That removes the form, every response it collected, the AI results attached to them and every file uploaded to it. Everything else on your account is untouched.
  • Delete a single response. Open it from Responses and delete it. Useful when one respondent asks you to remove their submission.
  • Export first if you want a copy. Responses download as CSV or Excel before you delete anything.

If you are a respondent rather than an account holder — you filled in somebody else's DodoForm and want that submission removed — ask the person who sent you the form, because they own it and can delete it. If you cannot reach them, email team@dodoform.com with the form link and we will pass the request on and follow it up.
